This beautiful young lady is Lauren Aquilina. She's just 17 yet she's already releasing music videos fetching over 200,000 views on youtube and hitting the top 20 in the album charts with her first EP 'Fools'.
Lauren's music was brought to my attention by Lewis Watson (to be reviewed sooooooooooooon) and ever since then I've been hooked on her quirky character and thought provoking music (not to mention how pretty she is).
Her debut single 'Fools', is about when two friends like each other, but they are scared of risking their friendship so they don't do anything because of the risk of it all crashing down hinting the lyric 'what if we ruin it all'.

She has recently been touring with BASTILLE and GABRIELLE APLIN (the singer on the 2012 christmas John Lewis advert) throughout the country and has gained much more affection from the nation and her songs are being heard throughout the country (even in McDonalds!).
All I know for sure if that you should be hearing more from young miss Aquilina in the near future as I hope she is going to get credit for the hard work she is putting into what she's doing, especially as she's only a couple of years older than me so I feel like out of all the artists I could probably relate to her the most (and her witty humour on twitter)
