Firstly, I should introduce you separately to these four lavishly handsome lads.
(From left to right) There's Adam Pitts, Andy Brown, Joel Peat and Ryan Fletcher.
Adam - 21 year old Adam is the drummer of the band, originally from Brighton. Adam earned a music technology degree at a music college in London.
Andy - 24 year old Andy is the lead singer and acoustic guitarist, also he is the oldest in the band and is from Liverpool. He was formerly in the band Avenue who were on X Factor, along side Max George from the Wanted.
Joel - 21 year old Joel plays lead guitar and back vocals in the band, he is originally from Nottingham. He met Ryan in a local music scene, who was then introduced to Adam and Andy and the band was formed.
Ryan - 21 year old Ryan is the bassist and backing vocals in the band and originally from Sheffield. Ryan and Joel met at school and started doing gigs aged 14.
You're most likely to have heard Lawson's singles 'When she was mine', 'Standing in the dark' or 'Taking over me' floating around the UK radio stations or in shops and restaurants. The band has their 'breakthrough' when they supported their close friends The Wanted on both of their UK tours and since then, they have been playing gigs and festivals all over the country such as T in the park or Wireless festival as well as the Capital 2012 summer ball.
The band's first album 'Chapman Square' was released in mid October 2012 to Polydor records, the album reached #4 on the UK charts. The three singles mentioned above all went into at least the top 5 in the UK charts which was a great success for the band as they went from a band with a couple of singles who supported The Wanted on tour, to a band with a top 5 album. All the songs on the album were written by Andy Brown as well as others and were mostly produced by John Shanks.
(There is also a free download track from their website)
So, if you haven't already heard of these lovely boys enchanting your ears with their siren like songs, then I highly recommend you listen to them on youtube and/or buy their songs/album on itunes to show them some support for working so hard and achieving what they deserve, and more is still to come from this band! They will not fade away any time soon in my opinion.
